Privacy Policy

CampusLoop collects only what it needs to run your orders. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who we are

CampusLoop is a mobile app that connects students with food, printing, supply, repair and ID photo shops around their campus. CampusLoop for Shops is the companion app used by those shops. This policy covers both apps. You can reach us at [email protected].

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, mobile number and chosen campus. If you sign up with email, your password is stored in hashed form by our authentication provider and we never see it.
• Sign in with Google: if you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We request only these basic profile details. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, Drive or any other Google data.
• Orders and quotes: the shop, items, prices, notes, pickup name and status of each order, and any file you upload for printing or a repair quote.
• Messages, reviews and reports you send through the app.
• Location: only when you tap “Use my location” to find your campus. It is used on your device for that search and is not stored or shared with shops.
• On your device: your preferences and unfinished cart are saved locally on your phone.

How we use your information

• To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
• To send your orders to the shop you choose and show you their progress.
• To let shops contact you about an order you placed.
• To handle reports, prevent misuse and keep the service working.

What shops can see

For orders you place with them, a shop sees your name for pickup (or a short version, if you turn that on in Privacy settings), your mobile number, the items or file you send, and your notes. Shops cannot see your email address, your orders with other shops, or your location.

Google user data

CampusLoop’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your Google name, email address and profile picture are used only to create and identify your CampusLoop account. They are not sold, used for advertising, or shared with anyone except as needed to provide the app.

Where your data is stored

CampusLoop stores data with Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Access rules in the database ensure students read only their own records and shop staff read only orders for their own shop. Uploaded files are kept in private storage and only the shop you chose can open them, through short-lived links.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account and order history while your account is open. You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account and its data at any time, in the app under Profile → Privacy → “Request my data or account deletion”, or by email. We reply within 15 days, as required by the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012. When you sign in with Google, you can also remove CampusLoop’s access from your Google Account settings.

Children

CampusLoop is meant for college and university students. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
